I was experiencing brain fog and fatigue for several years and then hot flashes for several months. Dr. Monk tested me as a "Green/Red" person. While I had always known I was chemically sensitive, I naturally chose organic foods for myself and family. What I didn't know was that I should also stay away from wheat. I gradually removed my best friend "wheat" from my diet. It was challenging but the more protein and veggies I ate, the better I felt. My brain fog evaporated within about a week. My energy levels increased gradually over a month or so. My hot flashes were significantly reduced from 13 times a day to 1-3. They were brought on by wheat or sugar so it became pretty simple to break off our relationship almost entirely! Once I stopped eating wheat and sweets, my hot flashes completely stopped. Today, I indulge in wheat and sweets only on special occasions with no ill-effect. My hot flashes saved me from some other illness down the road so I am grateful to them and Dr. Monk!

It was March 2008 and I had suffered for 18 years with severe and debilitating joint pain, headaches, fatigue and brain fog. I had been evaluated by multiple doctors. I was diagnosed with many different medical problems, had many different treatments, I wasnon many different medications and been hospitalized multiple times. No doctor was able to help me and I was at my wits end! I had four children and worked as a part-time firefighter/EMT. It was really interferring with my quality of life there were days I could barely function. It was heartbreaking as a mom not to be able to enjoy my children like I wanted. A fellow firefighter had recommended Dr Monk who had greatly helped him and his wife. I went to see Dr Monk who discovered my body couldn't tolerate wheat and gluten. I have a very active life now and I can enjoy time with my family & children. This new quality of life also gave me the opportunity to make a lifetime dream come true and go to paramedic school and become a paramedic. I have been a paramedic for two years now and love living my dream! Dr Monk literally gave me my life back! Now I can save the lives of others!
I came to Dr Monk for help with my brain fog, lack of energy and what I called "guess I'll go eat worms" attitude. I think that last part was anxiety - the feeling that nobody likes me everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms.
Doctor Monk did some muscle testing and decided that I should try to avoid dairy and cut way back on sugar. He also recommended a few supplements.
I just can't tell you how much better I feel since I have been following his protocol. It is amazing and makes so much sense that changing your diet can bring about such dramatic change in a person's health and mental wellness.

About a year ago I went to the doctor with terrible headaches. The doctor prescribed 4 daily medicationss for headaches, high blood pressure, high blood sugar and high triglycerides. At 46, I wasn't prepared to give in to a lifestyle of pills. Instead I went to see Dr. Monk. He showed me what foods to eat and avoid, and gave me supplements to help my body correct itself. First of all, I want to thank you! I feel wonderful! I have been taking the Zinc twice per day, the B6 once, the Pro-Biotics at night and the Folic Acid drops. I have so much more energy that I've been working out 4-5 times per week. I'm not getting any headaches post work out either. My gums are back to normal as well. I have been around many sick people lately and I'm very healthy, so my immune system is working again!
